We are looking for an HR Generalist for our NYC office to manage internal processes as well as assist with our Dreams Program.

• Coaching and mentoring for employees within the framework of Netsurit’s Dreams Program. This is our main vehicle of culture and engagement
• Driving the execution of Dream sessions
• Lead effective Dream sessions with employees and managers
• Driving team building events related to Dreams
• Assistance with other Culture building activities
• Helping employees identify, plan, and achieve their Dreams
• Encouraging, affirming, and fully supporting employee Dreams
• Make a positive contribution to our workplaces and boost engagement, teamwork, and productivity
• Provide support to the Well-being program with types of stress management activities
• Market, promote, and celebrate Dream Successes
• Incorporate existing resources and programs into the Dream Manager Program
• Building trusting open relationships by matching employee communication styles
• Creating an environment where people want to openly share their Dreams
• Understanding personal change models and motivation styles
• Conduct Dream Surveys to help employees determine where their passion and energy should be focused
• Identify opportunities to apply company investment towards the fulfillment of employee Dreams
• Create and maintain a physical Dream Wall to celebrate the realization of dreams
• Advise and support hiring managers in the correct process(es) to follow during the interview and screening process
• Ensure proper process and documentation is followed prior to, during, and after employment offer and acceptance
• Ensure all employee documentation is in compliance
• Process new hires, employee changes, salary changes, department changes and all related tasks both internally as well as in the internal HR systems
• Manage agreements and enable workflows (90-day probations) to ensure conversion to permanent status process is followed
• Tracking and updating PTO requests/balances via HR board on our management software
• Payroll calculation and reporting into HR systems
• Commission calculation and reporting into HR systems
• Compliance with separation agreements and mandatory Fed/State regulations with regards to final pay
• Benefits investment strategy process (annual)
• Open Enrolment process and communication for benefits including supporting staff through the process
• Support and advise managers concerning disciplinary action and process to follow with each case
• Work with external service providers to ensure company acts in accordance with all Federal & State regulations to avoid risk of claim/litigation resulting from improper handling of discipline
• Escalation to appropriate parties if cases develop into risk/exposure to company
• Help introduce or explain new or revised HR policies and/or systems; new State or Federal laws and new or revised procedures.
• Reporting payroll processes and other communication to the team
• Compliance with Federal and State reporting requirements/tax reporting as well to appropriate parties
• Record and document payroll after processing
• General HR response and support to staff/management

• Bachelor’s degree
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of New York employment law and proper compliance procedures
• Excellent MS Office proficiency, specifically Excel
• Strong budget management
• Strong verbal and written communication
• 2-5 years HR Generalist experience
• Self-starter and ability to work with people on all levels
